The Boat has an available range of powerplants from 40hp to 350hp, all meeting 2006 EC emission norms. The standard 125hp engine can power a fully loaded boat to over 20 knots in harbour conditions while using just 10 litres per hour of diesel.

The boat has exceptional safety characteristics; a forward crash bulkhead, three watertight below cockpit divisions with bilge pumps, and a self-bailing cockpit.
